A guest is visiting you. Where is the first place you take them?
In case we have a vehicle, the first place would be the view point at Gibralfaro hill, as there are some splendid views of the city and the bay of Malaga- check the pic below -, where you will understand all the development of this ancient city. Perfect spot for a first introduction into Malaga's history.

I live in such an amazing region of Spain, were I am at home since more than 30 years, and where I feel so happy that I wish to show our visitors what makes the region so special! Guiding is my passion!

Arts, reading, music, new technologies, photography, cinema, travel
Whats your most memorable moment while on a tour?
When I discover that my travelers are enjoying and surprised by something they didn't know... Here below explaining at the Alhambra, Granada
What kinds of things did you have to go through to become a licensed tour guide for your city?
After studying Spanish and business administration, I wanted to become a licensed guide of Andalusia, and it was a quite difficult task by the time, but my studies were accepted for the additional examination, where I had to proof knowledge of Andalusian history, history of arts, and language knowledge. Only a licensed guide can give guided tours at sites considered part of the cultural heritage of Spain.
Pineapple on pizza. yes or no?
I am not very much a pizza fan, but certainly not with pineapple. I prefer local cuisine, but also all kind of international cuisine and flavors, specially the new fusion of Spanish cuisine with Asian touch. Here below a pic from one of my favorite places in Sevilla.
Whats the local tourist trap you think people should avoid when visiting?
Here, to my opinion, it is the Hop-on Hop-off tourist bus. The main interesting sites here in Malaga are within the pedestrian area, so there is hardly something really interesting to see. Malagueta district & "Muelle Uno" at night - here below
Is there anything else we should know about you?
I have been involved in audiovisual productions for many years in another province of Andalusia (Almería), where I have been working as a location scout & manager, combining tours and audiovisuals, so I also can attend travelers with special interests in film locations of the area, where GOT was partly shot (and many other famous productions, as for example "For a Fistful of Dollars" etc...) Would you like to be famous? In what way?
Famous? No, absolutely not. Well known in my profession, as an excellent guide and in my private life as "a good person", that's enough.
What would constitute a “perfect” day for you?
Wake up when I wish, spending the day with the persons I love, relaxing on the beach, having a nice lunch...

To live in such a great place where I make my living traveling with lovely people from all over the world.
If you could wake up tomorrow having gained any one quality or ability, what would it be?
Being able to draw and paint.
What is your favorite food? Where's the best place to get it?
Fish on the beach. Here, in Malaga city or any other place along the Costa del Sol. Fresh fish, vegetables and fruits, olives, almonds, tropical fruits, organic and locally grown products, prepared in a simple manner, that is eating out at it's best!
