Hi, I’m Sherif! I’m Egyptian originally from Aswan and now living in Hurghada. I love being a guide for the many tourist visiting Egypt. I get to meet new and interesting people and make lifelong friends in the process. I have had many aspirations in my lifetime and the main one was to own my own tour company. This became my reality in 2016 and now I aspire to grow my company internationally. I love to educate myself about the world around me and I stay up to date with the latest news. I Enjoy spending my free time on the Red Sea fishing the amazingly abundant sea life in the open water. I also enjoy diving, viewing the underwater world unseen to the eye from the surface of the waters. I’ve spent many years as a guide in Cairo, taking many groups of people on tours of the museum and explaining the rich and ancient history of Egypt. The pyramids, having conversations about how different people from different places believe the pyramids we’re actually built and who actually built them. I love the study of the antiquities of ancient Egypt and I’ve also been a guide for tours to Luxor, Where the Valley of the Kings and Queens are located and also my home town Aswan. I love to see the expressions and reactions from tourist who have never seen the amazingly rich art and culture that still exists in this ancient land as is it is vast and breathtaking. When I’m not on tour I also spend a lot of time with my family. I have two boys who mean the absolute world to me and my work ethics provide them with a better life. I believe that you can do anything you put your mind to if you stay positive and consistent. I believe in what’s right and I always remain professional and courteous to all people. I believe in respect and integrity. I look forward to being a guide for you or for a group with you and your friends and family. Showcasing my home land, Egypt, showing you the way to all that is fascinating about it, and hoping that you’ll fall in love with it the way that I have and hold Egypt dear to your heart for the rest of your life. What are you waiting for? I’m here and I’m waiting for you. Welcome to my home. None
My life in pictures

A guest is visiting you. Where is the first place you take them?

The first place I will take them is to the marina in Hurghada. there's many beautiful yachts docked there and many restaurants where they can get a bite to eat and enjoy the wonderful views.

What is your favorite place in the world and why?

My favourite place in the world is Egypt. It's my home and I know everything about it and all the place to go and things to do. I love that many people want to come and visit Egypt. That tell me that I live in the best place on Earth.

What are your hobbies outside of being a local guide?

My hobbies outside being a local guide are diving, fishing and doing water activities with my boys.

Whats your most memorable moment while on a tour?

Not necessarily a moment, but once I facilitated a tour and the entire group was hearing impaired. Everything that I would have said out loud I had to write on paper and that's how we communicated. It was an amazing tour and I was so very happy to have been the guide to do it.

Pineapple on pizza. yes or no?

No, thank you.

Given the choice of anyone in the world, whom would you want as a dinner guest?

Well my boys are really big football fans, so if I could for them I would choose Mohamed Salah. That would mean a lot to them and in turn mean a lot to me.

For what in your life do you feel most grateful?

I feel grateful for my good health, my family, my friends and having the opportunity to pursue my goals in life and being successful at them.

What is your favorite food? Where's the best place to get it?

my favourite food is fish. The best place to get it is in a local restaurant near the fish market. they have the best fish and seafood in all of Hurghada.

What outdoor activity haven’t you tried, but would like to?

Well I haven't actually tried parasailing as it's become one of the top activities to do here in Hurghada, but I would like to, one day.
